Primo PDF will create PDF files from any printable Windows files (documents, images etc.). Allows to edit document metadata or properties such as author name, title, subject and protect PDF file with a password. It works as a virtual printer that, once is selected, will not print anything on paper, but instead will write and save a PDF file, no matter what file format the source file is.

1. Desktop standalone interface

From interface you can change settings and save them.

2. Choose downsampling mode

If you have color pictures or your source file is color, you can choose a type of color downsampling.

3. Put password on PDF

Allows to protect your PDF file with a password; in this way, if someone try to open generated PDF file and does not have the password, cannot view its content.

4. Few advanced options

You can change resolution manually, set default action if file exist (overwrite or append), choose default program to open PDF files.

5. Saving PDF

After you click Print and select Primo PDF as printer, just click Create PDF and you will have the file saved.

6. Test result

I have used a Word file with images and text, the PDF file resulted was exactly like original Word file, so this program it makes a good job. The file size of PDF file was reasonable.
